The Wire

Emma is an Adelaide-based journalist and media professional. She also writes and produces art.

Emma began her undergraduate in Social Work at the University of South Australia before segueing into Writing and Creative Communications. She has also completed postgraduate qualifications in Journalism and Public Relations at Deakin University.

Emma has over seven years’ experience in print, broadcast, visual and online mediums covering topics from human interest, Indigenous affairs, women’s equality, education, health, arts and social justice.

A detour through the doors of Radio Adelaide in 2020 led to her unexpected love for the airwaves and community radio. She joined The Wire as a reporter in February 2023 and now produces Thursday’s program.
