In 2011 the Global Commission on Drug Policy declared the war on drugs had failed and all countries should reconsider their approach. Since then little has changed in Australia with the drug trade at an all-time high and young people found to be most at risk. Experts at today’s Smarter about Drugs forum in Adelaide don’t believe the current prohibition approach is working and Australia’s youth must become involved in creating effective policy change.
