Under the current Industrial Relations laws, the award covering youth workers will be abolished in the next three years. In Queensland a campaign is currently underway to promote a Youth Services Multi Employer Agreement. It is argued the employer agreement will provide better working conditions for youth service providers and higher quality services for young people in need.
