After months of campaigning, the Australian Youth Climate Coalition, along with Port Augusta citizens, converged on Canberra today to lobby several key government and opposition members on their Repower Port Augusta Campaign.

They were there to ask that money from two existing renewable energy funds – which were created alongside the Carbon Tax – be put towards a solar thermal power plant in Port Augusta, South Australia, to replace its the ailing coal fired power plants, one of which is currently out of commission.
