A new minority movement is emerging, Mad Pride. Mad pride is an international phenomenon which aims to counteract discrimination and prejudice often shown to people with mental health issues. Tonight in Sydney a Mad Pride youth event will celebrate the identity of youth affected by mental illness. Organisers say the mix of poetry, dance, film, drama and music will help young people to cope.
