While most people know someone who has a mental illness, the people who care for them are often forgotten. A new survey from Wesley Mission has found that almost 90 percent of people caring for a relative with mental health issues reported a harmful impact on their own health. Some young people are caring for their sibling, parent or relative before they even become teenagers. They are often afraid to ask for help, and many have experienced first hand the stigma associated with mental health.
