Making an appointment with the Prime Minister is never going to be an easy task for your average joe. But an Indigenous Australian named David Dryden has been trying to do just that for over a year now. Mr Dryden is from Yorta Yorta and is concerned about the health and wellbeing of Indigenous Victorians in his community. He feels that there’s too much focus on the Northern Territory which is at the expense of other Indigenous communities. Mr Dryden has ideas about overcoming problems that face his community and would like to have a conversation with the PM about them. He is tired of being blown off by Kevin Rudd’s office so, next week he will stand outside parliament house calling for the Prime Minister to come outside.
