World report says genetically engineered food fail to deliver on promises

A new report on GM food contends that the promised bounty from genetically modified food is largely a public relations hype. The report’s lead author is Vandana Shiva – GM-free advocate, scientist and recent recipient of the Sydney Peace Prize. The report presents evidence that genetic engineering fails to increase food production and is harmful to humans and the environment.
