The 4 February is World Cancer Day.

It will bring awareness about oral cancer, one of the 10 most common cancers and how can people prevent it.

Some of the major risk factors are smoking, heavy drinking, and unprotected exposure of UV rays on the outer lip. Oral cancer can be cured if treated in the early stages, and Australians are urged to visit the dentist to prevent oral cancer.
