The debate surrounding workplace surveillance has heated up in the lead-up to a public lecture on the issue in Melbourne. It’s a grey area, legally and ethically, and the University of Melbourne’s Professor Grahem Sewell thinks there needs to be more public discussion on the issue. With about 30 per cent of employers admitting to secretly monitoring their workers activities Professor Sewell is posing the question, where do we draw the line?
