Workers safety is in the spotlight after the deaths of two men in two days in South Australia and Victoria. But what happens when people are injured at work? The South Australian govt is under fire from all sides at the moment with workers protesting in the streets of Adelaide against the government’s proposed changes to their workers compensation scheme in an attempt to address an $800 million unfunded liability. Catherine Zengerer asked greens MP Mark Parnell how the scheme got into such a mess and what the changes are that have got workers angry.
