The Rudd government’s new industrial laws come into effect tomorrow finally bringing an end to Howard’s Work Choices. Unions are praising the major changes to unfair dismissal laws that were weakened under the Howard government, giving businesses more power to fire their employees. Now the Rudd government has delivered new laws that will strengthen worker’s rights.
