There’s a growing gender problem in our ICT industry. The digital economy is expanding quickly in Australia, so much so that over the next five years, Australia will need an extra 100,000 workers to meet this growth. Yet only one in ten graduates from IT degrees in Australia are women. This is something one company is trying to change. Intel, with CEO Kate Burleigh at the helm in Australia has commissioned new research about how we can get more girls into tech subjects and what teachers can do to make sure girls get a go in the class room.
