The Federal Government announced yesterday that a further $4.5 million will be allocated to the Women in STEM and Entrepreneurship Program, known as the WISE grant program.

Current statistics show women only hold twenty percent of senior academic positions.

The Wire’s Katherine Andrews speaks to two women involved in the Superstars of STEM program, which has previously received a WISE grant, about the program’s importance and the need to retain those women in such roles.
