Tonight, the Rudd Government will announce its federal budget. Treasurer Wayne Swan says it will contain major changes to health and hospitals. But it’s likely the “no frills” package will sideline the fraught area of mental health. Advocates say they’re disappointed with the Government’s plans so far and fear that in tonight’s announcement, they’ll be ignored yet again.
