The online “Kony 2012” campaign went viral in March this year, spearheaded by the charity, Invisible Children. Their initial aim was to find and arrest Joseph Kony, the Ugandan leader of the Lord’s Resistance Army, a group responsible for the abduction of thousands of children to their war effort. Friday April 20th was the date earmarked for people across the globe to “Cover the Night” with posters to highlight their cause.

In Brisbane, a 16-years-old girl is leading the local operation to cover a central city square with posters, not only to raise awareness about Kony, but also to show the power of the Internet to bring together a global generation demanding change.
