It’s an initiative to get more young Australians talking about joining the organ donation registry and sharing this decision with family and friends. Despite this, New South Wales continues to lag behind other states in number of donors per million of population. The common question “will I really be dead?” often comes to mind. Myths aside, why do we continue to put of having this important conversation with loved ones?
