It seems the rudd Government’s answer to the increasing cost of living is to watch. First Gorceries, now fuel – IF the Fuelwatch scheme gets up. The Senate Enquiry into fuel prices will hand down its findings at the end of the month – and will be crucial to whether the government’s proposed fuelwatch scheme gets off the ground. The government will also need the support of The Greens, Family First Senator, Steve Fielding and Independent Senator Nick Xenaphon…who thinks the government is heading down the wrong path.
