Cannabis decriminalisation has raised a lot of controversy in Australia. However, a new bill to be introduced next month in the New South Wales Parliament might make cannabis legal for clinical trials. MP Kevin Anderson from Tamworth is introducing the bill to the State Parliament.Premier Mark Baird will support the bill once he gets more information about the regulations and supply of cannabis in that State. If the bill passes, new educational campaigns need to be launched to create awareness of cannabis facts.
