Collectively they advocated for four key recommendations. They are calling on the Australian government to establish a national strategy to abolish the death penalty; to use the aid program to work with civil society organisations worldwide; to join forces with other nations particularly in the Pacific region; and to make the Australian Federal Police more accountable for their actions in international cases.
