One-hundred-and-fifty-seven Tamil asylum seekers will be transferred to Curtin Detention Centre in the West Australian desert after being held at sea aboard a customs ship for nearly a month. Immigration Minister Scott Morrison says all of the asylum seekers will be returned to India, after being identified by Indian consular officials. He compared India to New Zealand when it came to returning asylum seekers. So what reason would Sri Lankan asylum seekers have to leave India?
