10 people were arrested, and one police officer injured when demonstrators clashed with police outside Melbourne’s Parliament House yesterday.

The protest which was promoted on various fringe conspiracy facebook groups included signs and talk of a conspiracy that 5G mobile technology was spreading and causing covid-19.

But where has this idea come from? Dr Stanley Shanapinda, research Fellow at La Trobe University explains.
