Why shutting down dozens of regional indigenous communities just doesn’t make sense

Indigenous communities located in the most isolated parts of Australia are facing the possibility of being shut down. The Western Australian and South Australian governments, in conjunction with the Federal Government, have raised the idea much to the anger and frustration of Indigenous communities and their representatives. At present, the government has given very little detail as to which communities will be shut down and why.
