Human Rights lawyers have vowed to fight on in the case of baby Ferouz, who was born in a Queensland hospital and therefore has the right to become an Australian Citizen – with all the protection that status affords. But in a bizarre decision the Australian government have determined the child arrived in Australia by boat, because his parents are stateless asylum seekers.
