Over the past month, the media coverage of the Israel/Lebanon crisis has been intense. Given the events in London overnight, Arabic people living in Western countries are bracing themselves for further unwelcome publicity. For Arabic speakers in Australia, the attention is all too familiar. Dr Minerva Nasser-Eddine is the South Australian representative of the Australian Arabic Council and she explains how Australia’s Arabic speaking community is handling the situation.
