A controversial $180m windfarm was given the go-ahead by the South Australian government this week. It will sit in the middle of an acknowledged Aboriginal dreaming site at Wattle Point, Yorke Peninsula. Kathryn Crisell Probst spoke to the Aboriginal Affairs Minister Terry Roberts about his decision. He says that dreaming areas cover huge areas of South Australia and there must always be some compromise with development. However Quenten Agius, a direct descendant of the local Narungga people, is very upset with the decision. He explains how important the dreamtime stories are to his people.
