The Wajina image is a sacred icon to many within the aboriginal communities surrounding the Kimberly, North West Australia. It’s against protocol and spiritual law to use the image without the permission of its rightful custodians. But Someone around Perth has been using the image at will, painting it on walls, furniture and old buildings.While it might be a powerful image, aboriginal elders are concern that the street artist depicting these images is in danger of becoming violently ill.
