The underpayment and exploitation of the nation’s hospitality workers isn’t anything new, and now with two notable head chefs severely underpaying their staff- one by almost $8 million dollars- the issue is under the spotlight.

Unions NSW and Hospo Voice say that it’s a systematic issue, and these chefs need to be held accountable for their actions.

If you work in hospitality and you think you’re being underpaid, experts say that joining the relevant union, Hospo Voice, is your best bet.
