WA Opposition law and order policy “disastrous”

In Western Australia – criticism for the state opposition which has put forward a policy to have 16 to 18 year olds tried in adult court for serious offences. Chief of the WA Aboriginal Legal Service, Dennis Eggington has described the idea as disastrous, and says the current Children’s Court is working well.
