Last year’s Mulligan Enquiry exposed some horrendous examples of the sexual abuse of children, including many Aboriginal kids. For years, communities in outback South Australia have been struggling to find a way of supporting their victims, due to the lack of legal services. But thanks to new funding from the Commonwealth Government, the Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement has just re-opened its doors as an outlet for people to seek vital legal services, with a special focus on child protection.
