Victorian Aboriginal Health Service celebrates 35 years of closing the gap

The Victorian Aboriginal Health Service (VAHS) held an open day celebrating thirty-five years of work today, while also promoting the Oxfam’s Close the Gap campaign. A film and photo exhibition were also part of the event, while a community Elder delivered an oral history of the service. VAHS Chief Executive Officer Rod Jackson spoke to Deborah Hawke about his team’s dedicated part in closing this gap in Indigenous life expectancy.
