Vanuatu is continuing to piece together communities and resources after the terrible destruction of Cyclone Pam, and face the stark reality of projects destroyed and the need to begin again. Mangaliliu – a small village half an hour from Port Villa – is one community whose plans for a cultural centre and an eco-tourism are in tatters after the massive cyclone. Elsewhere the forests that cover the islands have been severely damaged.
