UWA under fire over climate skeptic funding

The University of Western Australia has come under fire from their student guild, climate change advocates and sponsors for allowing $4 million of funding to Bjorn Lumborg, a climate change skeptic. It has now been confirmed by the university that the request to set up the Australian Consensus Centre at UWA was made by the federal government, specifically from the Prime Ministers office. A request, some argue that seems to be at odds with rhetoric about our current budget situation.
