The United States has confirmed it will sell $60 billion worth of arms to its Middle East ally, Saudi Arabia. The massive sale includes 84 Boeing F-15 fighter jets and 70 upgrades of existing Saudi F-15s. The Obama administration says it does not anticipate any objections to the deal from Israel — a country traditionally wary of arms sales to nearby Arab countries. The US congress now has 30 days to raise any objections and potentially block the deal.
