US debt crisis stand-off
In an address to the United States last night, US President Obama called on Americans to lobby Republican congressmen to agree to his plan to deal with the country’s debt crisis. Since then, the phones have been running hot and Senator’s emails crashing, with Americans expressing their frustration and anger with both sides of the house. But regardless of which plan they support, the question remains – how did it come to this?
