As was reported earlier in the week, there has been an oil spill in Moreton Bay, South East Queensland. Moreton and Bribie Island and southern parts of the Sunshine Coast have been declared disaster zones and State Government says the worst is yet to come. It was originally believed the slick wouldn’t cause too much of a problem, but now it is thought that up to 100,000 litres of oil may have spilled into the sea on Wednesday.
