Uniting Church offers sanctuary to Christmas Island children

While the violence in Manus Island continues to unfold the Uniting Church of Australia is taking action on ensuring the safety and wellbeing of young asylumn seekers detained without parents. With the possibility that children on Christmas Island may be deported to Nauru, a letter has been sent to the Immigration and Border Protection office requesting they are released into Uniting Church’s care.
