The murder in Rwanda of more than 50,000 Tutsis in the early 1990’s continues to haunt the UN. They were meant to be controling the situation and instead they let it happen. That’s a pretty serious accusation against the organisation that’s relied upon to bring some sanity to world conflicts, but Dateline reporter Ginny Stein has been investigating an even more serious claim. Former UN employee Callixte Mburashimana is believed to have murdered 32 people including other UN employees. In spite of evidence that the UN knew he has never been charged.
