Two per cent of rentals affordable for Australians on low income

The annual Rental Affordability Snapshot by Anglicare Australia has been released, and found out concerning issues around the rental housing crisis in Australia.

Only 2 per cent of rentals were affordable for full time workers on minimum wage. However, the statistics are worse when considering vulnerable community sectors, such as Australians with a disability or Australians on Youth Allowance.

The organisation is asking the Federal government to take affordable housing seriously and have good policies to fix the issue the issue.
