At least twenty-seven Australians are among the 298 passengers killed as a Malaysia Airlines jet was shot down by a ground-to-air missile over Ukraine. Experts are calling for international-scale investigations into who is responsible for the tragedy and asking why a civilian passenger jet was allowed to fly over a war zone.
