Tribal warriors reveal sacred stories while creating Indigenous jobs

Little is known about sacred Indigenous stories behind the iconic Opera House. But the group Tribal Warriors mentor young men about Bennelong Point’s sacred story, where the Opera House is located. And as they learn about the sacred ceremony, they also acquire maritime skills around Sydney’s foreshores, preparing them for jobs in the future. Chief Executive Officer Shane Phillips says the project has placed many young Aboriginal men in apprenticeships and jobs in the maritime industry around the country.
