While climate change has generated much spotlight over recent months, it appears its effects on Indigenous health has left the conversation.

A group of doctors from remote parts of Australia including the Torres Strait Islands and northern Cape York, have banded together to demand urgent action to protect Indigenous communities from life-threatening issues brought about as a result of climate change.
