Tony Abbott has outlined his vision for the Coalition’s economic policy in a speech at the Museum of Sydney today. He was quick to reassure his listeners that he wouldn’t bring back Workchoices, and even flagged the possibility of supporting the Government’s health reforms. But much of his speech was reserved for criticizing the Government’s spending packages. So was this speech more critique than policy? And is it enough to win the Coalition back the economic credentials the Rudd Government seems to have stolen?
