The new national curriculum is still the centre of controversy with accusations of too much or too little indigenous Australian history being taught. Footballer and Australian of the Year Adam Goodes re-ignited the debate this week when he told the BBC that the history of his country was built on lies. On the other side former Prime Minister John Howard says the curriculum is focused to much on Aboriginal issues.
