British Prime Minister Theresa May has survived losing her prime ministership, after winning a vote of no confidence from some of her colleagues in the Conservative Party.
With a vote of 200 to 117 from a secret ballot held in the party room, Mrs May said that she would continue with her “renewed mission” to take the UK out of the European Union by March next year.
But Mrs May also indicated that she has no intention of leading the party into the next general election in 2022.
