A new film is set to make a speedy arrival in the arts world. The true story of Bert Munroe, an Indian motorcycle rider determined to break world speed records on his 1920s model bike, has been made into a film, to be released in cinemas soon. It’s an unlikely choice for acclaimed actor, Anthony Hopkins, who stars in the film. The World’s Fastest Indian has been a challenging yet rewarding project for the film’s Writer and director Roger Donaldson. He explained to Nick Prescott how the story of a small town hero was transformed into a feature film.
