Today The Wire takes a look back at what was making news in September, 2013. The election was by far the biggest story, with Tony Abbott becoming Australia’s Prime Minister. The election also minor parties move into the Senate and young indigenous people started a dialogue about who will be the first indigenous PM. The Wire also investigated the dangers of poppy fields in Tasmania and we also joined in the Deadlies celebrations.
