Today The Wire takes a look back at the issues faced by remote Indigenous communities in 2013. A remote play group who were waiting two years for promised funding, youth incarceration rates dropped in 2013 but Indigenous kids were left in the lock-up. We examine whether township agreements are good for Indigenous communities and remote broadcasters network in the desert at the fifteenth National Remote Indigenous Media Festival at Ntaria, or Hermannsberg, west of Alice Springs.
