Tasmanian Aboriginal Council is outraged by the State Governments inaction to memorialise the atrocities Aboriginal people have faced in the past.

The federal Treasurer in Hobart announced plans for a Holocaust education centre to be built, offending the Tasmanian Aboriginal community who have been lobbying for their history to be recognised for many years now.

Campaign Co-ordinator of Tasmanian Aboriginal Council, Nala Mansell says the Tasmanian Government needs to listen to the Aboriginal community.
