Twenty years, 2.5 million records sold, seven studio albums and sixteen ARIA awards and they want to quit? Iconic Brisbane rock band, Powderfinger, today announced that they will call it a day. Lead singer, Bernard Fanning, told a crowd of media that their next tour, “Sunsets”, will be their last. Rumours of a split had been following the band for years but Fanning said the band only really decided after their summer festival season. Ian Haug, Powerfinger guitarist and backing vocalist spoke to Faith Valencia about plans for life after their farewell tour.
